Green Dioxide (GO2) is a blog focused on solutions to one of the greatest challenges facing all forms of life on this planet, that of climate change and environmental degradation.
While we are increasingly becoming aware of the problems, there is still only a limted understanding of how we all can be a part of the solutions. The common mindset tells us its something that can be tackled tomorrow, and by someone else.
The debate is not only about what we should be doing, but also if there really is a need to. There are the sceptics who still believe all changes being witnessed are a part of natural cycles, and not man-made.
We cannot really take chances, can we? We may have the benefit of hindsight in the future, but it may be too late. We have to act now.
The other problem is individual inertia. We may want to lend a hand, but rarely do we step forward. This blog is thus focused more on organizational action; collectively, we may show more initiative resulting in tangible positive results.
The blog also talks about things that are simpler to do, but can make a big difference. And those adopting any of the ideas need not set aside any big budgets for it; rather, some of these may actually be an exercise in profit.
